My iPad is mute – there is no sound after I uploaded iOS 7?

Remember if this is a microphone issue – you have to have “Allow recording” ON in Settings. The recording feature has to be accepted when you are asked to “allow access to microphone”, if it does not pop up you can change it in the Settings of the iPad.
